Global Outreach

“We don’t have time to stay stagnant, much less shrink back. The gospel is too good and our God is too great. We must do all that we can to see an ever-increasing, Christ-exalting, Spirit-filled force of men and women pursing the nations for the glory of His name.”

– Dr. David Platt of the International Mission Board

We partner with other local churches in an annual mission trip to Mexico to build houses and church buildings for the poor.

We have also sent teams to help clean up areas devastated by natural disaster such as the 2018 hurricanes in Puerto Rico.

Obedience Provides The Means

Over the years, we’ve learned that when we step forward to follow His command, He opens the way for us.  God’s faithfulness provides us with boldness in pursuing our dream of being a relevant part of a worldwide effort to see people who are geographically and culturally apart be united in worship of the one true God!  This perfectly sums up what we are trying to do, in our own small way, to obey God’s command to go, to teach, and make disciples of all nations. (Mathew 28:19-20)

History

Our effort to fulfill New Hope’s mission to “make disciples who make disciples” not just locally, but also abroad, started in 2010 when we partnered with Immanuel Baptist Church in Ario de Rosales, Michoacan, Mexico, to establish a Children’s Center.  The center provides a place for children from depressed areas to hang out and play, listen to lessons from Scripture taught by trained teachers, have decent meals at least once a week, and receive much needed winter clothing materials such as jackets and blankets.

In 2012, we adopted Anmol Christian Church in Nepal as a sister church. We started to provide them much needed financial support as this small church courageously shares the Gospel not only in Nepal, but with neighboring villages across the border in India amidst persecution that grows more and more violent each day.

Early in 2017, we sent a team to the southern part of the Phillippines to explore the possibilty of partnering with local churches in the remote island of Talikud and in Tagum City in Davao del Norte Phillippines to start a feeding program for children and provide Sunday school and Bible Study materials.
