It costs money to purchase the food we distribute. With every dollar donated, we are able to provide groceries for 6 additional people every week. We also need funds to keep our equipment (forklift, battery charger, commercial refrigerators, walk-in freezer, pallet jacks, carts, tables, computers, and other electronic devices) in good repair. Please note that we have no paid staff.
Funds are also needed to purchase items on a monthly basis, such as food service gloves, disinfectants, bags, plastic pallet wrap, and distribution tickets.
